Taking the overnight train No.K952/K949 from Shenzhen to Guilin, visitors arrive at Guilin station at 07:35 the next day.

Elephant Trunk Hill
Our guide and driver will meet you at exit of Guilin station and take your to freshen up before starting today's tours. First we visit Reed Flute Cave which is located 5 kilometers northwest of Guilin. The cave is 240 meters long and is a magic land of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, birds, plants and animals in fantastic shapes and colors. Lunch is at local Restaurant. Continue the tour to Elephant Trunk Hill which located on the Western bank of the Li River. The shape of the hill gives the appearance of an elephant drinking water form the river.

Minority village and Longsheng Terraced Field
Today we will visit Yao and Zhuang ethnic group areas. Longsheng Terraced Rice Fields have been constructed on the steep mountains. The terraces look like ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the mountain. There are about 66 square kilometers of terraced fields in the district. The Terraces were first built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty by the Zhuang people. Zhuang and Yao minority villages dot the area and feature traditional unique architecture where no nails are used in construction. Walk up to the viewing platform for a view of terraced fields. Have a lunch at a local restaurant where customers can enjoy natural scenery while eating the local food.

Li River
Today’s activity is the Li River a cruise between Guilin and Yangshuo. The boat travels the 83 kilometers in about 4-5 hours. The river presents the beauty of picturesque scenery with limpid water, unique peaks and brocade-like fields that change their charm with the change of the seasons. Pass Paint Brush Peak, Nine Horses Mural Hill and Yellow Clothes Beach will pass by as you travel to Yangshou. Lunch is served on the boat. Arriving at Yangshuo, West Street is the gateway and popular among backpackers and travelers from all over the world. Stay at Yangshuo tonight.

Yangshuo Countryside Cycling
Today we will experience rural life in the Yangshuo countryside by biking from Yangshuo through the countryside. Pass the paddy field and orchards that surround the famous mountains and get fascinating insight into life in rural China. Chinese people say "Guilin has the most beautiful scenery in China, and Yangshuo is the most beautiful part of Guilin." Have a lunch at a local restaurant. Our guide and driver will take you to Guilin station and help you to board finishing the tour.

Explore Daxu Ancient Town with Local Scholar
Daxu ancient town, which has been a glory trade market in the past decade, it owns the biggest water transportation hub in Guilin. We invited a local scholar to show you around, give a brief lecture of the interesting story behind the town, visit the last and the only Chinese traditional pharmacy in town that still using traditional way for treatment! Also you get a chance to visit one of the local families and talk to the locals.
