Reed Flute Cave
A full day tour of Guilin highlights begins after breakfast at Elephant Trunk Hill-the symbol of Guilin. Its name is derived because its shape resembles an elephant with its trunk in the Li River. Then go to Reed Flute Cave offering a magic land of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, curtains birds, plants and animals in fantastic shapes and colors. Lunch is at a great local restaurant.After lunch we take around 2 hours to drive to Longsheng Terraced Rice Fields. The Longji Terraces are built into the steep mountain range named "The Dragon's Backbone" and look like ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the mountain. This construction makes the best use of the scarce arable land and water resources in the mountain area. Zhuang and Yao minority villages dot this area and feature traditional unique architecture where no nails are used in construction. The different minority groups have different customs and dressing styles which are especially interesting. Tip. 1. Reed Flute Cave- It is 240 meters long, and the length of the tour is about 550 meters. The visit lasts for 40 minutes and there are a lot of steps. Watch your step as the lights are dim. You guide will guide you by flash light. 2. Minority village and Longsheng Terraced Field- There are about 66 square kilometers of terraced fields in the district and there are a lot of steps. Sedan chairs are available from the parking lot to the top of the mountain for customers who would like to see the great views but do not want to climb all the way up to the top; The cost is about CNY350 per person for the round trip.

Longsheng Rice Terraces
Hiking Ping'an village to Dazhai village with your guide takes around 5 hours. During the hike through the terraces you will see the daily life of the farmers and the beautiful village scenery. A simple lunch is arranged at a local restaurant or local house. After finishing the hike, our guide and driver will escort you from Longsheng to Guilin. Lastly, visit the Pearl Culture Shop, and go back to hotel in Guilin. Hiking Tips: 1. Wear suitable walking shoes and clothes. 2. Remember to bring water, sunscreen, sun-glasses, and cap etc. 3. May and Sep are the best times. In May the crop are irrigated and September is harvest time. Spring and autumn means temperatures and humidity are lower.

Li River Cruise
After breakfast, take Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshou. Your guide and driver will escort you from your hotel in Guilin to the Mopanshan pier. The cruise has something interesting to see at almost every bend in the river. Bamboo groves, farmers tending rice paddies, lumbering water buffaloes pulling carts or cooling off in the river not to mention the unique scenery for which it is famous. You may see fishermen gliding along on their narrow bamboo rafts or famous fishing cormorants. Your lunch is provided on the boat. Arrive in Yangshou and stroll down West Street where the shopping is great. Then, you will be transferred to your hotel. Tip. 1. Li River cruise- Boats depart from various wharves, according to the height of the river. 2. Lunch-The lunch is provided by the boat, so it's quite simple, it's better to bring some snacks just in case.

Bicycle Tour-travel
Experience the hustle & bustle of the Yangshuo traffic for 10 minutes before you escape onto the country roads, lanes and tracks of the distinctive and beautiful Yangshuo countryside. Biking alongside the paddy field and orchards that surround the famous mountains will give a fascinating insight into life in rural China. You will have a family visit on the half way. It is an opportunity to see a real country life and talk to the local farmers. Come back and have lunch at a local restaurant. Your guide will taker you to the airport to board on your onward flight.

Oil tea, Chinese name it Youcha, is a feature food of Yao Minority in Guilin, and now popular among locals, it can remove the body moisture and good for prevent rheumatism in the humid mountain area, on the way up to the terrace field, our guide will take you to visit a local Yao lady’s family, she will show us how to make oil tea and treat us lunch there.
Yangshuo Chinese Cookery Class
This class begins at the local market where ingredients for the dishes are chosen by students. Back at a covered, rooftop patio-classroom, you have an opportunity to learn three dishes and enjoy the fruits of your labor. You can choose other favorite dishes at the lunch.
Explore Daxu Ancient Town with Local Scholar
Daxu ancient town, which has been a glory trade market in the past decade, it owns the biggest water transportation hub in Guilin. We invited a local scholar to show you around, give a brief lecture of the interesting story behind the town, visit the last and the only Chinese traditional pharmacy in town that still using traditional way for treatment! Also you get a chance to visit one of the local families and talk to the locals.

This tour deserve to the photographer, for sunset on Li River with karsts mountain as background, a local fisherman seating on his bamboo boat with his cormorant birds, which are the fisherman’s pet and good at catching fish in the river.
