Guilin Daxu Ancient Town
Daxu, in Chinese "big market", an ancient town with history spanning over 1000 years, located on the north bank of the Li River, about 23km by river from Guilin. It is one of the four famous ancient towns in Guangxi province as early as 600 years ago.
it is a time-honored town with well preserved traditional Chinese architecture and time-worn shiny stone-paved streets. A leisurely stroll along the streets will afford the opportunity to see traditional courtyards and Chinese rural life.
