After your arriving, our guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest and explore. You are free to get your own dinner. The guide will recommend local restaurants and cafes but there many a stroll away along Zhengyang Pedestrian Street.

Day 2Guilin

Jingkeng Terrace Filed

Today we will drive to Jinkeng Terrace field which is 30 minutes extra drive from the most famous terraced field in Ping'an village. Jinkeng village and its terraced field remains undeveloped and has not yet been widely known to tourist. The terraced fields here are in a large scale and vary in four seasons. The local Zhuang and Yao minority still lives in a simple and traditional way. Local minorities wear their own ethnic costumes.

Day 3Guilin

Today you take the Li River cruise, 4 hours from Guilin to Yangshuo. The limestone peaks for which it is famous, the bamboo forests and the villages come into view and are replaced by another at the blink of an eye. Upon your arrival at Yangshuo, we head for the bikes and into the Yangshuo countryside. En route, you will visit a local family to experience a local famers'lifestyle. Lunch is included on board while dinner is at your arrangements. You will find many café and restaurants in Yangshou’s West Street.

Day 4Guilin Departure

Elephant Trunk Hill

Today's arrangements include the Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill and Reed Flute Cave which are the must-see attractions in Guilin. Our first stop is the Elephant Trunk Hill which resembles an elephant drinking water alongside the river. Continue our visit to Fubo Hill where you will get a panoramic view of Guilin City by climbing the stairway to the hilltop. After lunch at a great local restaurant, we head to the Reed Flute Cave which is one of the most notable krast caves in China. The cave is formed of many Karst formations in unique shapes. Illuminated by colored lights, the cave looks like a spectacular palace. Our guide and driver will transfer you to the airport and your Guilin tour ends.

A Local Yao Lady’s Family Visit

Oil tea, Chinese name it Youcha, is a feature food of Yao Minority in Guilin, and now popular among locals, it can remove the body moisture and good for prevent rheumatism in the humid mountain area, on the way up to the terrace field, our guide will take you to visit a local Yao lady’s family, she will show us how to make oil tea and treat us lunch there.

Yangshuo Chinese Cookery Class

This class begins at the local market where ingredients for the dishes are chosen by students. Back at a covered, rooftop patio-classroom, you have an opportunity to learn three dishes and enjoy the fruits of your labor. You can choose other favorite dishes at the lunch.

Explore Daxu Ancient Town with Local Scholar

Daxu ancient town, which has been a glory trade market in the past decade, it owns the biggest water transportation hub in Guilin. We invited a local scholar to show you around, give a brief lecture of the interesting story behind the town, visit the last and the only Chinese traditional pharmacy in town that still using traditional way for treatment! Also you get a chance to visit one of the local families and talk to the locals.

You will catch a bird’s eye view of karsts formation scenery along Li River by taking a helicopter flight; you have 4 flight route options base on your interest, just ask your travel consultants.

Photography on Li River Sunset and Local Fisherman

This tour deserve to the photographer, for sunset on Li River with karsts mountain as background, a local fisherman seating on his bamboo boat with his cormorant birds, which are the fisherman’s pet and good at catching fish in the river. The fisherman will show naturally pose with different postures. Your guide will help you to get the best composition of photos as possible.
