Guilin is a multi-ethnic area that has 11 ethnic groups including the Han, Zhuang, Miao, Yao and Dong. We will visit remote areas to experience minority people’s traditional customs and their lifestyle during the tour.

Tour Details
Our guide will meet you at airport and take you to the hotel. Start our tour to Huangluo Yao Village after have a short rest. Every woman in the village has long hair with the longest 75 inches. See the traditional the long hair dance and the dance to pray for good fortune. Continue our tour to visit Longji Terraced Field and have a lunch. There are about 66 square kilometers of terraced fields in the district. The Terraces were first built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty by the Zhuang people. Zhuang and Yao minority villages dot the area and feature traditional unique architecture where no nails are used in construction. The different minority customs and dressing styles are especially interesting. Stay at Longsheng Terraced Field tonight.

chengyang-wind-&-rain-bridge-in-sanjiang
Today we will go to Sanjiang County to visit scenic spots in from Longsheng. Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge is our first stop. Built in 1916 the bridge is regarded as one of the best example of the wind and rain bridges. Mapang Drum Tower is the symbol of the Dong village. Built in Ming Dynasty, Mapang Drum Tower is one of the most famous drum towers in China. It is 15 meters high, 11 meters wide with nine floor eaves in total, each floor has eaves, which depict various patterns such as flowers, grass, fish, birds and characters. Have a lunch at local restaurant to sample taste Dong dishes. Stay in Sanjiang tonight.

Dong Village in Sanjiang
Today continue our minority tour to Danzhou Ancient Town. Located southwest of Rongjiang Town, Danzhou town is a multi-ethnic village where Miao, Yao, Dong, Zhuang and Han live. Called "water of the island", the town is a small island surrounded by water.
