Cruise Itinerary
The Sleeping Beauty
This graceful silhouette isn’t a person at all, but Mount Seven-Star, just outside Guilin. As you drift past, the ferry’s vantage point transforms the peaks into the profile of a sleeping beauty—an enchanting illusion. However, don’t expect to see an actual "beauty" when you visit the mountain up close!
Eight Immortals Crossing the Li River
Along the riverbank, you’ll encounter a formation of eight rocky peaks that echo the legendary Chinese tale of the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea. On the Li River, they appear as if they’re gracefully sliding across the water—an unexpected twist to the classic story that adds to the river’s mystique.

4-Star Li River Cruise Ferry
This is the most picturesque and iconic part of the Li River journey—where the scenery reaches its breathtaking peak.
Nine Horses Painting Mountain
This cliffside marvel resembles a giant canvas, with natural rock formations that appear to depict nine galloping horses. Unlike the lush greenery elsewhere, this cliff is bare, allowing the distinct shapes to stand out clearly. The “nine horses” were first described over a thousand years ago by a Chinese poet, and spotting all of them is said to be a test of your imagination—and luck!
Reflection of Yellow Cloth Shoal
Here, the river becomes a mirror. The striking yellow rock formations on the banks are perfectly reflected in the water, creating the illusion of a golden cloth draped across the surface. As your ferry glides through, it feels like you're floating above the mountains themselves. This stunning view is so iconic that it was chosen as the image on the 20 Yuan Chinese banknote. Many visitors love holding up the note here to compare it with the real thing.

While the first two sections of the Li River cruise showcase natural wonders, this final stretch offers a window into the region’s rich cultural heritage.
Xingping Fishing Village
With over 500 years of history, Xingping Fishing Village is a living museum of ancient China. Though the cruise ferry doesn’t stop here, you can still admire the village from the river—its traditional black-tiled rooftops offer a striking contrast against the lush backdrop. Hidden within the village are ancient bridges, pavilions, temples, opera stages, and stone ports—remnants of a vibrant past that continues to shape local life today.
