Day 1 Arrival in Guilin, Elephant Trunk Hill, The Solitary Peak

Upon arrival in Guilin, our guide will greet you at the train station or airport and escort you to your hotel.

After a brief rest, you will visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, Guilin's iconic landmark—a massive rock formation resembling an elephant drinking from the river.

Lunch today will be enjoyed at a local specialty restaurant, with the guide selecting an appropriate venue and recommending dishes based on your preferences. 

After lunch, you will head to Solitary Beauty Peak, located within Jingjiang Princes City (now the Wangcheng Campus of Guangxi Normal University) in central Guilin.

Together with Diecai Hill and Fubo Hill, it forms a prominent trio of peaks in the city. From the summit, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Guilin. The peak resides within the ancient Jingjiang Princes' Palace, constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1372-1392 AD), which housed fourteen kings across twelve generations.

After your visit to Solitary Beauty Peak, the guide and driver will escort you back to the hotel for rest. Today's tour concludes here. 

Day 2 Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, Countryside Tour in Yangshuo, back to Guilin from Yangshuo

Following breakfast at the hotel, your guide and driver will meet you at the agreed time to transfer you to the Zhujiang Wharf in Guilin. Your journey begins with today's enchanting Li River cruise to Yangshuo.

During this three-hour voyage, you will be captivated by scenery reminiscent of a traditional Chinese ink painting: jagged peaks, lush bamboo groves, crystal-clear waters, slender bamboo rafts, and tranquil villages that glide quietly past, as if the boat is floating atop the verdant hills.

A light meal will be served on board by the cruise company. Upon arriving in Yangshuo in the afternoon, your guide will assist you in renting a bicycle or e-bike.

You are expected to arrive in Yangshuo around 1:30 to 2:00 in the afternoon. After disembarking, you will stroll through West Street, a bustling pedestrian street filled with shops, hostels, and restaurants that attract visitors from around the globe.

Following a brief stop on West Street, the guide will lead you to the parking area for your car ride back to Guilin, where you will visit Reed Flute Cave, famous for its unique karst formations, including stone pillars, stalactites, and stalagmites, enhanced by colorful lighting.

After concluding the tour, we will escort you back to the hotel for some rest. 

Day 3 Yao Mountain, Tea Plantation, and Guilin Departure

Today, you will first visit Yao Mountain, the tallest mountain in Guilin's urban area, located 12 kilometers east of the city center. The peak stands at an elevation of 909 meters, with a relative height of 760 meters. You'll ascend by cable car to enjoy a panoramic view of Guilin and, in spring, admire the blooming azaleas along the mountainside.

After descending by cable car, you will visit Tea Plantation. Operated by the Guilin Tea Research Institute, this venue offers enriching tours and tea-tasting activities.

The hour-long journey begins amidst the tea bushes, where the characteristics of various tea types and the methods of producing white, green, yellow, and black teas are explained. Subsequently, visitors can observe a demonstration of the tea-drying process. At the tour's conclusion, guests are invited to taste premium teas selected from the garden.
