Start our Guilin discovery tour in Guilin by visiting Elephant Trunk Hill which is located on the western bank of the Li River. Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol the city.

Continue our tour to Fubo Hill which is about 2km from Elephant Trunk Hill. Fubo Hill can tame the waves and stop the surging waters. Whirlpools form at its base. Have a lunch at local restaurant.

This afternoon we will visit Seven Star Park. Attractions in the park include Flowers Bridge, Camel Hill and the Panda House. Reed Flute Cave is five kilometers northwest of Guilin City. The cave is 240 meters long, and offers a magic land of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, birds, plants and animals in fantastic shapes and colors.

Today we will take the Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. There's something interesting to see at almost every bend in the river. Between spectacular limestone peaks you'll see graceful bamboo groves, farmers tending rice paddies, and lumbering water buffaloes pulling carts or cooling off in the river.

Arriving at Yangshuo, our guide will lead you to West Street. This street gathers travelers from around the world and a vast array of products can be found in this 1400 year old street.

After have a breakfast we off to discover the Yao and Miao ethnic people in Longsheng County. First we will visit Huangluo Yao Village which has gained recognition for its celebration of long hair worn by the women of the village. Visitors can see the celebration in dance and also the dancing when they pray for good fortune, which are the traditional folk performances in this village.

Then up hill to Longji Terraced Fields about 30 minutes from Huangluo Yao Village. The terraces look like ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the mountain. This ingenious construction makes best use of the scarce arable land and water resources in the mountainous area. Have a lunch at Ping’an restaurant which serves local food and is famous for its roasted Bamboo Rice and fresh vegetables. Stay at the village tonight.

Today we will go to Sanjiang County which is a Dong ethnic minority area. First we will visit Chenyang Wind and Rain Bridge. It was built in 1916, and it is the best example of its kind. The Mapang Drum Tower is one of the most famous drum towers in China and was built in Ming Dynasty. Stay at Sanjiang County tonight.

After have a breakfast we will visit Danzhou Ancient Town which located in the southwest of the Rongjiang. Danzhou ancient town is home to several minority groups. Miao, Yao, Dong, Zhuang and Han people live in the village making total of 1100 people. Danzhou ancient town is called the "water of the Island," as it is built on a small island. Surrounded by water, the island has fresh air and is so quiet and peaceful with unique, beautiful and diverse natural scenery. Still stay at Sanjiang tonight.
