Upon arrival in Guilin, our guide will greet you at the train station or airport and escort you to your hotel.

After a brief rest, you will visit the Solitary Beauty Peak, located within Jingjiang Princes City (now the Wangcheng Campus of Guangxi Normal University) in central Guilin.

Together with Diecai Hill and Fubo Hill, it forms a prominent trio of peaks in the city. From the summit, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Guilin. The peak resides within the ancient Jingjiang Princes' Palace, constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1372-1392 AD), which housed fourteen kings across twelve generations. 

After visiting Solitary Beauty Peak, the guide will escort you to dinner, choosing an appropriate local restaurant based on your preferences and recommending the area's signature dishes.

After dinner, you will return to the hotel to rest.

Today, we will visit the Longji Ping’an Rice Terraces, home to over 50 families and more than 200 residents. Viewed from above, the terraces resemble the ribcage of a dragon extending from the steep slopes, hence the name "Dragon's Backbone".

Located approximately two hours by car from Guilin, the area is surrounded by several villages. The terraces span an area of 66 square kilometers (25 square miles) and were constructed by local ethnic minorities around 600 years ago. The terraces in the village range from 300 to 1,100 meters in elevation.

This excursion promises to quicken your pulse and requires a moderate amount of walking, necessitating a certain level of fitness. Typically, vehicles must stop outside the village, and you will take an electric cart up the mountain to the first viewpoint to admire the terraces' spectacular beauty.

Afterward, you may walk for about 30 minutes to another viewpoint for a different perspective. You can then descend on foot.

We will arrange for you to enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the Longji scenic area, with your local guide recommending specific venues based on your interests and schedule.

Stay tonight at a guesthouse at the foot of Ping’an Zhuang Village in Longji, right beside the terraced fields. Experience the tranquility of the mountains in the evening, and wake up to a stunning view of the terraces outside your window in the morning.

After enjoying breakfast at the guesthouse, the guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel in Guilin, a journey of approximately 2.5 hours. Once you arrive, you can take a brief rest before the guide accompanies you to lunch. 

After lunch, you will visit Guilin's iconic landmark, Elephant Trunk Hill, a massive rock resembling an elephant drinking by the river.

Next, you will visit Reed Flute Cave, famous for its unique karst formations, including stone pillars, stalactites, and stalagmites, enhanced by colorful lighting.

After today's itinerary, you will return to the hotel to rest.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your guide and driver will meet you at the agreed time and take you to the Yangdi Wharf. Today's journey will begin at Yangdi, where you'll board a motorized bamboo raft to explore the scenic Li River from Yangdi to Xingping.

The bamboo raft journey from Yangdi Village to Xingping Chaobanshan Wharf is one of the classic scenic routes on the Yangshuo section of the Li River. This stretch offers views of some of the most stunning karst landscapes. Notable sights include the Nine Horses Fresco Hill and Yellow Cloth Shoal (featured on the 20 RMB note). The entire journey spans 14 kilometers and takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Upon arriving at Xingping Wharf, the driver will greet you and your guide to transport you to a Yangshuo hotel, beautifully situated beside the Yulong River. After a brief respite at the hotel, your guide will lead you to a Yangshuo restaurant for lunch, selecting a venue and local delicacies to suit your tastes.

After lunch, the guide will lead you to explore the picturesque countryside of Yangshuo by bicycle or e-bike. Renowned for its idyllic landscapes, where uniquely shaped peaks soar into the clouds. The karst formations, rice paddies, clear streams, and verdant bamboo groves create breathtaking scenery.

After the tour, the guide and driver will return you to the hotel to rest, and the remaining time will be at your leisure.

Upon concluding your Guilin itinerary, the guide and driver will meet you at your Yangshuo hotel at the agreed time to transport you to Guilin Oeste Railway Station, where you will board a train back to Hong Kong.
